JOB TITLE Manager - Supply Chain | MAF Retail | Head Office UAE
Role Summary The Manager - Supply Chain is responsible for leading the supply chain operations for our growing network of grocery Dark Stores. The role holder will ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective supply chain processes for the grocery business.
ROLE PROFILE
Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels for groceries and preventing out-of-stock situations.
Analyze sales data and collaborate with the customer to forecast demand, ensuring stock levels meet end-customer needs, especially for high-turnover grocery items.
Oversee logistics and transportation operations, ensuring products are delivered to the Dark Stores and the distribution center efficiently and on time, while optimizing transportation costs.
Manage and control supply chain costs, ensuring effective cost-saving initiatives while maintaining the quality and availability of grocery products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer and key internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries of grocery products.
Monitor the quality of goods received and stocked, particularly perishables, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Continuously review and improve supply chain processes, identifying areas for automation and streamlining to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Ensure effective collaboration with other departments such as operations, sales, and IT to support seamless business growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in grocery, retail, or e-Commerce Operations.
Proven track record in managing inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics for grocery or perishable goods.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on forecasting and demand planning.
Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and tools for inventory and logistics management.
Ability to manage suppliers, optimize costs, and maintain high service levels.
