Job Description
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain & customer satisfaction.
Introduce Oren to new customers based on company strategy.
Drive and meet the sales targets outlined for GCC market on a monthly basis.
Conduct research to identify new market & customer needs by gathering data related to supply/demand of oil field products in GCC market.
Identify the key oilfield chemical products being used by the drilling companies (end user) in GCC Market.
Engage with the Purchase team of drilling companies and sell Oren chemical products.
Meet with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Act as a bridge between Oren Tech team and end users.
Analyze market data and provide tangible inputs to management on planning, production, sales, etc.
Explore ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability.
Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Guide the SBD team in preparation of sales reports and present to executive management.
Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products.
Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness.
Demonstrate in-depth sales and marketing techniques and financial principles.
Effectively communicate orally and in written form with co-management, internal and external customers.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA will be an added advantage.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in sales in a chemical company or operations in an oil drilling company (service company), preferably with mud engineering experience.
Ability and technical knowledge necessary to create effective and persuasive programs, presentations, technical recommendations, and performance reports.
Ability to work under high pressure and be result-oriented.
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with senior management.
Extensive travel in the area of responsibility will be required.
Excellent customer relations skills and sales ability.
Good organizational skills and ability to prepare technical presentations.
Ability to work in a multi-task, high-paced environment, be self-directed and motivated, able to prioritize responsibilities, coordinate ongoing projects, and provide precise attention to detail.
Must be able to work well with other groups and field operations.
