Job description
  1. In the absence of a manager, conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known.
  2. Ensure restaurant operating equipment is clean and in working order.
  3. Maintain impeccable uniform and personal presentation standards in accordance with hotel policy.
  4. Endeavour to resolve all complaints during shift and logs all complaints in log book for further follow up.
  5. Supervise cash handling and banking procedures.
  6. Prepare daily banking and cash flow reports.
  7. Establish and instruct staff in cash security procedures.
  8. Deal with irregular payments.
  9. Supervise the maintenance of service equipment.
  10. Monitor standards of guest facilities and services.
  11. Control stock and monitor security procedures.
  12. Train and schedule employees to ensure proper coverage in your section.
  13. Supervise functions.
  14. Supervise outlet service.
  15. Deliver reasonable tasks as instructed by Manager.
  16. Perform any reasonable tasks as instructed by Manager.
