Identify, monitor, analyze and report on current and future regulatory issues in all markets where talabat is active.
Gather intelligence and reports on legislative and regulatory agendas.
Articulate our policy positions in briefing papers, consultation responses, internal policy meetings, memos, and position papers when needed.
Cross-functionally work with internal stakeholders such as communications, legal, and the broader policy teams.
Advise internal colleagues and teams on public policy matters to help guide the development of products, services, and policies.
Gather global best practices and benchmarks, and create a log for key visions and governmental plans in the region.
Create talking points and material for the management team on policy-related topics.
Represent the company in government meetings and policy discussions around the region when needed.
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor's degree in Law, Public Policy, or related field.
7+ years of experience in the public affairs and government relations field.
Deep knowledge of the Middle East's policy environment.
Superb English and Arabic verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a matrix environment and collaborate cross-functionally while being accountable for public affairs matters.
Proven track record in policy partnership/campaign building.
