ABOUT US

Abu Dhabi Capital Group is a leading private institutional investment group with a diversified global portfolio.

We are looking for a strategic PMO and performance professional to drive strategy execution through the setup and management of a group strategic project management office (PMO) function, and leading an effective corporate performance management framework and cycle.

STRATEGIC PMO

  • Establish and lead the Strategic PMO to oversee execution of strategic initiatives aligned with the Group corporate strategy
  • Manage strategy execution cadence including meetings and reporting, feeding back insights into group strategic planning
  • Facilitate project execution through supporting decision making and unblocking communication across all stakeholders
  • Maintain central initiative and action tracker including managing the assignment, status and follow-up of actions
  • arising from the strategy, and Board, CEO, Portfolio companies, and various committee meetings
  • Develop reporting mechanisms, including dashboards to provide real-time updates on project progress
  • Risk and issue management, including identifying, assessing, escalating, and mitigating risks and delays across the portfolio of strategic initiatives
  • Standardize processes, developing and enforcing PMO standards, methodologies, and templates for consistent project execution
  • Support change management, facilitating organizational alignment, communication and adoption of change across all levels

CORPORATE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Own, implement, and continually improve business performance management framework
  • Prepare annual performance scorecards for all business units including Strategic Initiatives and KPIs
  • Lead quarterly business performance reviews to track progress, address challenges and opportunities and report risks
  • Lead year-end group and BU performance review cycleto assess achievement against KPIs
  • Support the CEO and team leadership in strategic reporting and communication to the Board and external parties
  • Ensure alignment and cascade of performance scorecards across the Group and all portfolio companies
  • Maintain and manage performance management systems and tools in coordination with HR
  • Monitor key corporate performance metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure close integration between corporate strategy execution and performance management to support organizational success

EXPERIENCE

  • Strategic PMO Leadership: Minimum of 8 years of experience in project/program management, with at least 3 years leading a PMO or overseeing strategic initiatives.
  • Corporate Performance Management: Proven experience in establishing and managing performance management frameworks, KPIs, and reporting at the corporate level.
  • Strategy Execution: Hands-on experience in driving strategy execution within a corporate or holding company environment.
  • Governance and Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Boards, executive committees, and senior leadership teams.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working across multiple business units and functional departments to ensure
  • strategic alignment.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Strong track record in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across complex initiatives.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the holding company structure or diversified business portfolios is a strong advantage
  • Technology Tools: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet), performance dashboards, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

SKILLS

  • Project and Program Management Expertise: Good knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
  • Ability to Connect the Dots: Can relate a single initiative or action to dependencies, decision points, opportunities or programs of work outside of the core action, and build links to execute effectively
  • Leadership and Influence: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, inspire stakeholders, communicate complex
  • information, deliver consensus and influence decision-making at all levels
  • Tenacity: Inclination to follow through with consistency with senior stakeholders to ensure actions are being executed
  • Prioritization: Ability to priorities execution on the basis of impact vs effort across a broad spectrum of actions
  • Process Optimization: Skills in designing and implementing streamlined processes and methodologies for both PMO and performance management functions
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in tracking and managing deliverables, deadlines, and performance metrics
  • Change Management: Expertise in leading change management initiatives to drive adoption of strategic and performance frameworks
  • Adaptability: Can apply skills to multiple subject matters and industry contexts
