Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager - Operations to lead our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring that the operational aspects of our e-commerce business run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction, managing vendor relationships, and driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency.


Job Duties & Responsibility:

Operational Leadership:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Lead and motivate the operations team to achieve productivity and performance targets.
Process Optimization:

  1. Analyze current operational processes and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  2. Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
Vendor Management:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  2. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
Inventory Management:

  1. Oversee inventory levels and ensure they are maintained efficiently, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.
  2. Implement inventory management systems and processes to optimize stock levels and reduce inventory costs.
Customer Satisfaction:

  1. Ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and timely.
  2. Work closely with the customer service team to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience.
Team Development:

  1. Recruit, train, and develop operations team members.
  2. Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
Compliance and Risk Management:

  1. Ensure all operations comply with legal regulations and company policies.
  2. Assess and mitigate operational risks that could impact business continuity.
Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
  3. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  6. Proficiency in using ERP and WMS systems.
  7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
