Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager - Operations to lead our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring that the operational aspects of our e-commerce business run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction, managing vendor relationships, and driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
Job Duties & Responsibility:
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee the daily operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and motivate the operations team to achieve productivity and performance targets.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze current operational processes and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.
Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure they are maintained efficiently, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.
- Implement inventory management systems and processes to optimize stock levels and reduce inventory costs.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and timely.
- Work closely with the customer service team to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience.
Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and develop operations team members.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all operations comply with legal regulations and company policies.
- Assess and mitigate operational risks that could impact business continuity.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in using ERP and WMS systems.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
