Overview

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is one of the world's premier centers for research and treatment of catastrophic diseases in children, primarily pediatric cancers. Headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude seeks to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Within St. Jude, the Department of Global Pediatric Medicine (GPM) is looking for professionals eager to help implement the St. Jude Global (SJG) mission by training the clinical workforce, developing health systems, and advancing knowledge through research.

SJG is at a pivotal moment in the development of its Regional Programs, establishing hubs across the globe to improve outcomes for children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude has established the St. Jude Global Operations Platform LLC – Rep. Office (SJGOP) in Dubai as the first regional hub. SJG is seeking a dedicated Regional Hub Manager of Operations to oversee operations and administrative services for the hub.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing day-to-day operations (e.g., finance, technology, facilities, and human resources) of the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Hub;
• Leading the design and implementation of policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of operational processes;
• Managing HR services, including payroll, benefits, recruitment, and compliance;
• Managing budget and resource planning for the hub;
• Managing real estate and office responsibilities;
• Coordinating event management processes for meetings and workshops;
• Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations;
• Managing vendors providing services to the hub;
• Offering administrative support for the Programs teams;
• Maintaining inventory of software and coordinating with tech teams;
• Developing and distributing Hub communications;
• Supporting strategic planning and execution of the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Program;
• Tracking operational success metrics.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in operations management.
• Experience in contract and vendor management, and budget planning.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
