Purpose for the role:
To plan and execute marketing deliverables for Masdar in line with the marketing and communications strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Marketing & Events in delivering the annual marketing strategy to meet business objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social media, email, and events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
- Manage campaigns and assets for Masdar and its strategic initiatives (videos, creatives, etc).
- Manage campaign budgets ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Coordinate with external vendors and media partners to enhance campaign reach and impact.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics providing insights and recommendations for optimization. Prepare detailed reports on campaign outcomes and present the findings to senior management.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with potential partners to enhance brand visibility and support marketing initiatives.
- Work with the Procurement team to negotiate sponsorship agreements ensuring mutually beneficial terms and alignment with the company's marketing goals.
- Oversee the execution of sponsorship activities working closely with the events team on event planning, promotional campaigns, and performance tracking to maximize sponsor engagement and ROI.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media and creative agencies to ensure alignment with brand objectives and campaign goals.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of media and creative strategies ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
- Coordinate RFPs and agency tenders.
- Monitor agency performance and retainers, track key metrics, and conduct regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.
- Contribute to the continuous awareness ranking and enhancement of the brand including brand identity, core values, unique selling points, as well as brand guidelines and visuals in order to ensure a compelling brand that is consistently represented and promoted.
- Contribute to building the brand reputation and equity of Masdar through working on a customer experience program and ensuring that all digital media platforms are leveraged.
- Support digital communications plans for the implementation of projects and activities related to the continuous enhancement of Masdar's presence in digital media in order to continue building brand awareness and loyalty.
- Contribute to recommending and monitoring the unit budget year-long so that the business is aware of areas of unsatisfactory performance against the budget and so that performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
- Ensure relationships with service level providers are managed smoothly and effectively in a way that guarantees that Masdar is provided with quality and timely services in line with relevant service level agreements.
- As and when required by management, personally manage key relationships/negotiations with relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure the negotiation and agreement of favorable deals and agreements.
- Organize and supervise the activities and work of the unit's team to ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating policies and procedures.
- Manage the unit's team by overseeing their performance management, recruitment, training, and development to ensure high levels of engagement and competence in a motivated work environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and implementation of unit systems, policies, and procedures covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements and standards are fulfilled while ensuring that policies and procedures support the delivery of the strategy.
Qualifications :
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree from a top-tier internationally recognized higher education institution.
- Bachelors degree in marketing, branding, or related field.
Preferred Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate marketing for a large organization or an equivalent experience. Proven experience in managing marketing campaigns preferably in a similar industry.
- Must have Gulf Region experience; preference would be given to candidates already based in the UAE.
