JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Marketing Manager

Salary: TBD

Location: Dubai

Experience: 5-8 years

Job Summary: Help manage and oversee the majority of HQMENA Trade Show marketing including planning, developing, executing, and measuring results.

Major Responsibilities / Activities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day planning and execution of industry conferences and trade shows including pre- and post-event communications and attendee management.
  2. Negotiate and execute contracts for both large and small scale events.
  3. Collaborate across departments to contribute to meeting design, agenda development, brand building, event communications, and marketing.
  4. Partner with the project head to develop strategies leveraging existing content and access to industry communities to promote events and trade shows.
  5. Provide consistent and clear communication of the events program to all stakeholders including internal briefing documents for specified events and conferences.
  6. Work alongside the project head to design, document, and execute innovative multi-channel marketing programs for HQMENA trade shows.
  7. Responsible for effective provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of event systems.
  8. Collaborate with promotional & print vendors and maintain the best relationship possible with those vendors.
  9. Oversee, manage, and wrap up event budgets with internal teams and vendors.
  10. Provide ongoing marketing support and material development for all event initiatives.
  11. Manage and execute events starting with the RFP process through vendor contracting, planning, registration, and onsite execution.
  12. Source new venues/locations for upcoming events.
  13. Assist in evaluating ROI for all events.
  14. Work as a shared resource to the sales force and other corporate departments in support of their event needs.
  15. Work closely with the Events Coordinator to help develop his/her skills and learn the event planning process.
  16. Assist the Experiential Project Head in executing any of his/her media to large-scale events.
  17. Plan, coordinate, and execute additional ancillary events as they arise.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  1. Working experience in a marketing/corporate events role.
  2. Detail-oriented, team-oriented, multitasking pro.
  3. Proficient in CRM.
  4. Bachelor's degree required, marketing concentration preferred.
  5. Project management and contract negotiation skills essential.
  6. Think creatively and work independently.
  7. Excellent organizational skills essential.
  8. Strong relationship-building and excellent customer service skills.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Adaptable under pressure with quick deadlines.
  2. Prioritizing responsibilities effectively.
  3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Graduates, Post-Graduates, or College Level with experience in sales and communications or related field; 3 to 5 years in ERP sales, Exhibition Sales experience in the GCC region and Asia; with a wide knowledge of Forex market, Cryptocurrencies, and Blockchain; proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets; proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships; excellent interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication; preferable English & Hindi language, Arabic will be a plus; hardworking and can work on weekends and holidays if required.
