Manager - IT Infrastructure Architecture is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure. This role involves developing designs for both on-premise and cloud environments to build robust, scalable, and efficient systems to enhance IT services availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Infrastructure Architecture design and implementation of IT infrastructure, including both on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
- Review, suggest improvements, and approve IT systems designs in alignment with various functional architects while ensuring compliance with company Infrastructure Architecture standards.
- Lead the Infrastructure architecture team to identify and create repeatable architecture patterns in alignment with IT Information security and enterprise architecture standards.
- Develop strategies for the seamless integration of cloud services with existing on-premise infrastructure.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT infrastructure architects and IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure all IT infrastructure designs adhere to security standards and compliance.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to align and formulate solutions to meet specific company requirements with IT infrastructure services.
- Work closely with Demand Management to develop scope of work with optimized budgets for IT infrastructure based on approved business demands.
- Identify opportunities for improvements in IT infrastructure and implement best practices.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Experience
15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Certifications
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified - Infrastructure Solutions Expert, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified - Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNP, VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization, etc. Understanding of architecture framework and preferably certified in TOGAF.
