Manager Financial Systems

Accountabilities

1. Finance SAP SME; will act to provide Finance a view on ERP functionality, capability and best practice.
2. Will be the technical bridge between Finance and IT during major ERP projects. Ideally will have proven track record of managing major implementation projects including S/4 HANA.
3. Manage finance requirements on data analytics and reporting, liaison with IT and upstream data sources. Ideally will have proven track record of managing major data analytics projects with a preferred knowledge of Tableau or PowerBI.
4. Work with stakeholders to complete process reviews and provide recommendations on how to eliminate waste and improve operating performance. Ideally familiar with Lead/Agile methodologies.
5. Will recommend and lead initiatives to automate using complimentary technologies such as RPA, AI/ML.
6. Govern access to finance applications and sensitive information and conduct periodic reviews.
7. Work alongside DTI and internal Finance teams to support the prioritization of SAP CR enhancements to maximize long term ROI; this will include reviewing and challenging external time and cost estimates.
8. Act as a business super-user across a variety of system platforms to implement rapid change requests which may not require a full DTI review.

Education & Experience

1. Professional Finance in accounting (CA / ACCA / CPA / CFA) preferred.
2. SAP Finance related technical accreditations.
3. 7-10 years of experience in delivering enterprise solutions for Finance.
4. Experience in delivering on data analytics project for Finance.
5. Airline experience preferred.
