Role Summary The Enterprise Risk Manager at Majid Al Futtaim Properties is responsible for overseeing the governance and integration of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program across business units, driving risk intelligence, supporting leadership in managing principal uncertainties, and ensuring alignment with corporate risk methodologies and strategies.
ROLE PROFILE
Risk Identification: Custodian of key risk assumptions and updates principal uncertainties bi-monthly.
Aggregate risk data and provide inputs for risk dashboards also lead quantification efforts, including stress testing and Monte Carlo simulations.
Ensure risk insights are integrated into business unit reviews and dashboards as well as monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and escalate breaches.
Facilitate risk assessments using bow-tie methodology and maintain risk registers for corporate and business units.
Deliver risk training, develop annual training plans, and standardize risk management tools and streamline risk data to enhance risk maturity.
Develop and implement Business Continuity and Crisis Management frameworks.
Prepare Risk Committee and Board papers detailing key risks and mitigation strategies.
Oversee insurance portfolios and ensure comprehensive risk coverage and manage claims processes and policy renewals.
Provide business units inputs to Quarterly Board/ARC Risk submissions using templates set by Majid Al Futtaim Properties Risk Function.
Implement Project Risk monitoring and reporting methodology (set by MAFP Risk Function) for all individual Majid Al Futtaim Properties Projects.
Conduct risk assessments and test continuity plans.
Lead crisis response activities and facilitate simulations for preparedness.
Ensure timely closure of business units action plans in the Governance Portal.
Implement project-specific risk methodologies and reporting.
Requirements
8-10 years in risk management, audit, or compliance in public accounting, real estate, retail, or construction.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
Expertise in Microsoft Office tools and risk modeling solutions like ModelRisk or GRC tools.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to explain complex risk topics in a business context.
CRMA, IRM, CPA, CIA, CFE, GRCP, PRMIA, or PMP preferred.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of driving risk initiatives independently.
