Manager Engineering - Salesforce

We are looking for a Manager Engineering Salesforce (f/m/d) to join our Global Salesforce Tech Team. Responsibilities:

• Oversee project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within autonomous teams.

• Contribute to architectural decision-making and system design.

• Act as a key team member supporting all Local Shop Vendors.

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, ensuring their success.

• Design, develop, test, iterate, and deploy new features, system integrations, and enhancements.

• Provide ongoing operational support and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team effectively.

• Extensive experience in system design, development, and support.

• Deep understanding of both administrative and development aspects of the Salesforce platform, including when to leverage declarative vs. programmatic solutions.

• Expertise in designing scalable, high-performance codebases with a focus on security and best practices.

• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and Apex Triggers, as well as integrating Salesforce with third-party systems using RESTful and SOAP APIs.

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security models and techniques.

• Hands-on experience with Git, SFDX, and version control.

• Experience developing custom Lightning Components using Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

• Familiarity with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Case Management, Knowledge, Live Agent, Marketing Cloud, AWS, GCP.

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Strong understanding of relational databases and object-oriented programming.

• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Knowledge of service-oriented architectures (REST, SOAP, gRPC, etc.).

• Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Developer, Advanced Developer, Architect) are a plus.

• Experience with Salesforce Communities, Lightning Experience, and Agile methodologies.

• Passion for engineering best practices, high-quality code, and automated testing.
