Manager, Emiratization (Emirati Talent)

Job Purpose

Responsible for supporting the design, implementation and management of Emiratization initiatives within the bank. Ensuring the recruitment, development and retention of UAE national talents in line with the bank Emiratization goals and development plans.

Principle Accountabilities

• Assist in the development and execution of Emiratization plans aligned with the bank overall and HCM strategy
• Monitor progress of Emiratization efforts and provide recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with internal departments to promote Emiratization objectives
• Support the recruitment of UAE nationals for specific levels
• Work with recruitment team to identify and attract Emirati talents through job fairs, partnerships with educational institution and other sourcing methods.
• Maintain strong relationship with government, educational institutions and talent pools
• Assist in the design and delivery of training programs aimed at developing the skills and capabilities of UAE nationals
• Support and manage the career progression development initiatives of UAE talent employees
• Track the performance and progression of Emirati employees and propose plans
• Ensure compliance with the bank, CB and local labor laws and regulations
• Prepare and maintain reports on Emiratization progress, targets, etc for Head of Emiratization
• Promote a positive and inclusive work environment for UAE nationals
• Assist in implementation of retention strategies and ensure Emirati employees have opportunities for growth and job satisfaction
• Liaise with government bodies and external organizations to stay updated on Emiratization policies and funding opportunities.
• Manage, execute and represent the bank Emiratization events, career and job fairs and workshops.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or any other related field
• 4+ years of experience in HR with focus on Emiratization
• Familiarity with government, CB regulation and policies and programs related to Emiratization.
