Manager Database administration & BI

Our Client is a well-known Luxury Retail Gp in the GCC Market seeking to hire a Manager (Database administration & BI) to join their Technology team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database management, data analytics, reporting, and BI tools, along with leadership capabilities to oversee a team and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to support data integration, reporting, and strategic decision-making.

• Designing and maintaining secure, high-performing databases
• Leading BI development efforts with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
• Managing ETL processes and ensuring seamless data integration
• Developing and maintaining BI dashboards, reports and data visualizations to support business decision-making
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting standards
• Ensuring BI tools and platforms are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business objectives
• Implementing data governance policies and best practices

To be considered in this role you need to qualify below criteria :

1. 7+ years of experience in database management and BI
2. Proficiency with SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
3. Strong background in Power BI and data visualization
4. Hands-on expertise in ETL, data modeling, and performance tuning
5. Leadership skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
