ITMAM

Itmam, a wholly-owned subsidiary, provides banking operational and processing services to all Group sectors, including lending, wealth management, and ATM services. Integrated into the Group Business Services (GBS) organisational structure, Itmam operates under its own Board of Directors, comprising Group executive staff members. Its structure includes a General Manager overseeing five key operational service divisions: Consumer Operations, Corporate & Investment Banking Operations, Customer Contact Services, Treasury and Syndication Operations, and Shared Services and Operations Management. Notably, "Tamooha," the Group's award-winning operations center initiative, is staffed exclusively by UAE national women.

We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

1. Manage and lead the financial and non-financial aspects of card operations comprising transaction processing, financial support – settlement and reconciliations, chargeback, customer support, transaction monitoring, logistics, and support business, and all process improvement initiatives with close liaison to internal, external and third-party processors, card schemes, and regulators in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures to achieve stipulated service levels while ensuring no data/financial loss to the Bank or the customer.
2. Manage card operations with effective resource planning to handle various daily operational activities such as transaction processing, chargebacks, financial settlement and reconciliations, customer support maintenance, transaction monitoring, and logistics to achieve the agreed service level agreements (SLA), reduce errors and operational losses with adequate controls to mitigate risks.
3. Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes, and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own and employee contributions to business performance.
4. Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures, and processes covering all areas of activity to ensure that ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products, and innovation.
5. Identify opportunities to contribute to organizational and departmental change initiatives, programs, and projects considering best practices and standards in the business environment.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

1. At least 5+ years of experience in the Banking sector in varying roles.
2. Bachelor’s degree from a well-recognized university in Finance or Accounting.
