Male Housekeeper

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for someone with a good work ethic and high levels of attention to detail who has previous housekeeping and assistant executive housekeeper experience. Working within a Private Household requires an utmost level of trust, and it is essential you have solid references from all of your previous employers before an offer is usually made.

You will be responsible for ensuring the house is clean and tidy at all times. This includes cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas daily. You may also be required to shop and cook for family members and guests. More formal households will require you to be knowledgeable about cleaning antique furniture, delicate materials, and silver.

If you have good references and housekeeping experience, this could be a suitable position for you. Our Housekeeper vacancies will usually be live-in positions or based at a staff compound.

Your Responsibilities

• Thorough disinfecting and cleaning of the entire house
• Dust surfaces and polish woods
• Ironing and steaming of clothing
• Washing clothing and linens
• Running errands as necessary
• Keeping outdoor social areas clean
• Assisting with meal serving and preparation for social functions
• Preparing standard hot and cold drinks

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping
• English speaking
• Willingness to work in a live-in type of job
• Nationality: Filipino, Indian
