- Supervise daily maintenance operations ensuring smooth, safe operations.
- Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment and systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and emergency repairs, managing team resources effectively.
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities, including equipment repairs and part replacements.
- Lead a team of technicians and support personnel in troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure timely support for maintenance.
- Oversee safety procedures during maintenance, ensuring the well-being of all personnel.
- Provide reports on equipment status, recommending improvements and upgrades to increase efficiency.
Job requirements
- Strong background in offshore oil & gas, marine, or gas field operations.
- Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS, maintenance scheduling, and reporting systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem resolution of critical equipment.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards (ISO, API, OSHA).
- Previous supervisory experience in maintenance teams.
- Ability to manage emergency and shutdown operations effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
- Certifications in maintenance management, safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET).
- Training in equipment maintenance systems and CMMS.
