Maintenance Project Manager - Immediate Joiners

About this role:

• Retain existing clients and nourish relations through regular communication with client decision makers, and secure new contracts.
• Review contract documents for client’s requirements and execute works within its scope.
• Perform field review and inspection of assigned projects and suggest improvement plans to the client for approval.
• Ensure all projects are supported and have the services required for the projects to succeed.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of all projects under his supervision.
• Execute the project in accordance with the work schedule and as per the Contract requirement.
• Manage resources (manpower, equipment, etc.) and project expenses to achieve contract completion within budget and time, without any major accident and attempt to exceed budgeted profit.
• Ensure that the project’s performance is monitored throughout, and timely preventive & corrective actions are taken.
• In coordination with supervisors, monitor the performance of employees on site and develop their skills.
• Responsible for all administration, contractual, technical, and financial issues (in coordination with GM and OM) that are related to the Project.
• Establish and maintain project folder on server: all soft copy of documents related to the specific project must be placed there. (In conjunction with HR, Accounts, Procurement and Design)
• Implement and interpret department policies, standards, and procedures.
• In conjunction with HR, plan for proper training of employees where challenges in required skills are identified to develop the skills of Basatin’ work force to help the organization in its growth.
• Follow the proper channels (submit a written request and get it approved by OM) for reactive and proactive forecasting such as over time and/or extra manpower required.
• Evaluate the performance of Supervisors operating on PM’s sites and submit to HR.
• Ensure that the historical experience from executed projects is utilized in the new tenders.
• Review Enquiry documents, study specifications and drawings for anomalies.
• Send clarifications/ queries to Clients, attend pre-tender meetings and site visits.
• Bid and Estimation preparation: Prepare construction schedules, manpower and Equipment estimation, material requirement.
• Review estimates and costs with General Manager and Operation Manager.
• Implement and monitor Company Quality HSE & ISM Safety Management System to full Project team at all locations.
• Interaction with project team on day-to-day basis; with other heads of the departments, sections on requirement basis.
• On projects, the interaction with the client is through Project Manager.
• Interaction with subcontractors and suppliers also, either directly or through department I section heads.
• Maintain strong client relationships and secure new irrigation contracts through regular communication.
• Execute irrigation projects within scope, budget, and deadlines, ensuring smooth operations on-site.
• Conduct field reviews, suggest improvements, and monitor overall project performance of irrigation team.
• Manage resources effectively, including manpower and equipment, to meet project goals.
• Foster skill development among irrigation team members and ensure proper documentation of all activities.

Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures, and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.

Information Security responsibilities:

1. Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies
2. Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities
3. Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training
4. Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
5. Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
6. Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
7. Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Min 10 years experience in relevant field
• Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
• Landscaping Industry Experience
