Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and enhance production efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
• Equipment & Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of bakery production equipment, ovens, mixers, conveyors, cooling systems, and packaging machinery.
• Downtime Reduction: Identify recurring equipment issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective measures to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in line with UAE laws and industry best practices.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
• Spare Parts & Inventory Control: Maintain adequate spare parts inventory, liaise with suppliers, and optimize procurement processes.
• Project Management: Plan and execute machinery installations, upgrades, and expansions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Energy & Utility Management: Monitor energy consumption and implement initiatives to enhance energy efficiency.
• Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Manage external service providers, contractors, and OEMs to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in bakery or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of Bakery production equipment, automation systems, and industrial maintenance best practices.
• Experience in TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance), CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
