Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and enhance production efficiency.
Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
Equipment & Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of bakery production equipment, ovens, mixers, conveyors, cooling systems, and packaging machinery.
Downtime Reduction: Identify recurring equipment issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective measures to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in line with UAE laws and industry best practices.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
Spare Parts & Inventory Control: Maintain adequate spare parts inventory, liaise with suppliers, and optimize procurement processes.
Project Management: Plan and execute machinery installations, upgrades, and expansions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Energy & Utility Management: Monitor energy consumption and implement initiatives to enhance energy efficiency.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Manage external service providers, contractors, and OEMs to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in bakery or FMCG.
Strong knowledge of Bakery production equipment, automation systems, and industrial maintenance best practices.
Experience in TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance), CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
