Manage and lead a multi-disciplined maintenance team
Ensure maintenance schedules are accurate and achievable
Develop OEM contracts as directed by client and maintenance requirements
Author the maintenance section in the weekly and monthly reports
Work with the CMMS / Planning Engineer to ensure maintenance routines are accurate and justified
Appraise and update preventative maintenance routines in CMMS as applicable
Develop maintenance backlog reports
Develop a priority system for maintenance repairs against time and criticality
Develop a call-out system for emergency breakdown support
Ensure there is robust forward planning for common user services (CUS) in scaffolding, lifting and insulation, which allows for the completion of all maintenance to schedule
Engage competent local contractors to carry out all CUS work
Direct the team to support shutdown and turnaround planning and resourcing
Be aware of the priority of predictive maintenance requirements
Ensure the team maintains critical materials holdings with minimum and maximum stock identified
Ensure engineers audit the spares holdings advised by the EPC Contractor for accuracy and sufficiency
Ensure self and team are fully conversant with the technical documentation available from EPC Contractor and OEMs
Ensure self and team are fully conversant with all technical documentation required for maintenance and confirm it is available or resourced through OEMs or vendors
Review competency of sub-contractors and engage local sub-contractors to support maintenance as required
Engage competent local contractors to undertake non-maintenance tasks, such as route clearance, chemical replenishment, closed drain / septic tank evacuation etc.
Review MOCs for technical accuracy and delivery
Provide technical input to modifications and work packs
Develop a certification process to bring plant back online after major maintenance or modifications ensuring integrity before handing over to operate
Answer technical queries and guide sub-contract personnel on maintenance and best practices
Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement in plant and personnel
Be conversant with Contract KPIs and support their delivery and attainment
Ensure completion reports are submitted against all work and shutdowns / turnarounds
Ensure good knowledge of the Contracted Services
Commence and design a checklist system for routine maintenance tasks
Participate in, or cooperate with; internal or external audits respectively
Chair a weekly team meeting and maintain an action and minute log for discussion
Attend weekly management meetings
Compile or receive detailed written handover prior to; and completion of leave and/or field breaks
Carry out HSE and technical audits and inspections as directed
Have a full awareness of the Company Code of Conduct and Business Ethics
Conduct investigations into any HSE incidents or technical occurrences
