Job Description:

Indus International seeks a dynamic and seasoned Maintenance Engineer, with a strong emphasis on manufacturing maintenance, processes, quality enhancement, and cost-effective throughput. This role requires effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform necessary repairs promptly.
• Installation & Upgrades: Assist in the installation of new equipment and recommend upgrades to existing systems for improved efficiency.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective measures.
• Documentation & Reporting: Drive operational excellence, leveraging automation and efficient workflows.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with other departments to enhance processes and reduce equipment-related disruptions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications and Technical Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Language: Proficient in English and Hindi, both written and verbal.
• Experience: Minimum 2 to 10 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or FMCG industries.
• Certification in maintenance management or relevant technical certifications (e.g., Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional).
• Experience with predictive maintenance techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a diverse and international environment.
• Ability to travel as necessary to meet machine selection & commissioning requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

• Performance Incentive: Eligible for yearly performance-based incentive up to 3 months' salary as per Company’s policy at the end of the financial year.
