Job Responsibilities
- To promote guest satisfaction by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are well maintained.
- To be fully aware of the maintenance request procedure and ensure that it is followed and carried out at all times.
- To be instructed by the relevant supervisor of his duties in regards to maintaining guest room and public areas to the highest possible standard.
- To be fully versed and capable in electrical, plumbing and painting requirements related to the designated areas of work (should be multi-skill).
- To be practically adaptable and willing to take on works and requirements.
- Must be willing to accept new job challenges and position.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that the room is left clean and in perfect working condition after completion of any work performed.
- Maintain a good rapport and working relationship and report for duty punctually wearing the proper uniform and name tag appropriately.
- Carries out occasional repair work as required.
- Prevents problems from occurring in the hotel's technical installations.
- Implements the corrective action plans as communicated by the Technical Manager.
- Follows the preventive maintenance program.
- Applies water hygiene procedures.
