Machine Shop Supervisor

Core Responsibilities:

1. Establish ideal raw material to be used on all products to be manufactured.
2. Establish routing procedures for manufactured products.
3. Classify and create standard costs for all new products to be manufactured.
4. Process planning and raising bills of materials from engineering drawings.
5. Determine the best procedure for outside processing, coordinating with machine shop and purchasing.
6. Determine the best routing process.
7. Develop new fixtures and tooling for process improvement.
8. May assist in outsourcing manufacturing operations when unable to undertake within Machine Shop.
