Machine Operator (Extrusion)

Perform duties and responsibilities on Extrusion machine as assigned by the Plant supervisor or Production In charge.

Machine Setup: Take lead in setting up machines before production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper tooling is in place.

Machine Operation: Operate machinery according to established procedures, guidelines, and safety protocols. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments in consultation with Plant Supervisor / Production In charge.

Quality Control: Supervise inspection of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Report any defects or issues to Production In charge / QC immediately.

Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as lubricating and replacing worn parts. Troubleshoot and conduct minor repairs when needed.

Material Handling and Planning: Oversee raw materials and finished products handling and planning, including loading and unloading materials, moving products between workstations, and maintaining inventory levels.

Safety: Follow all safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and ensure all team members follow the same.

Documentation: Maintain records of production activities, machine settings, and quality checks. Complete production reports as necessary.

Communication: Communicate effectively with Production In charge and team members to ensure smooth production processes.

Training: Participate in training programs to improve machine operation skills and knowledge of production processes.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 3 - 5 years’ experience preferably in factory setup
