Machine Operator (5-Gallon line)

1. Responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performing preventive actions on assigned machines to achieve high volume production.

2. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for size changes, maintaining stocks based on demand, and following predetermined quality specifications.

Key Accountabilities

1. Follow standard operating procedures in work and adhere to safe work practices, ensuring efficient operation of 5G line machines and attending to basic troubles.
2. Operate and monitor assigned machines during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops. Perform preventive and routine maintenance activities to ensure proper machine startup and operation to achieve high machine efficiency.
3. Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels as per SOP to attain cost-effective production.
4. Prepare production reports with high accuracy and highlight day-to-day machine, material, and operational issues to the supervisor to plan preventive and planned maintenance.
5. Strictly follow GMP and housekeeping practices and be punctual in duties.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification

Diploma in a technical field with experience in water bottling/FMCG, or secondary school plus 3 years in water bottling and FMCG manufacturing unit experience.

Experience

2 years of experience as an operator in filling, processing, packaging, or robotics in the food industry, with a strong understanding of equipment operation and basic troubleshooting and repairs.

Technical Capabilities

Robotic, washer, filler, sleeve applicator, decapper.

Shift will be determined by the production supervisor, with willingness and ability to cross-train on other production line equipment, including GMP and housekeeping.
