Job Title: Loss Prevention Engineer

We're looking for Loss Prevention Engineers for a job in UAE in the Offshore Oil Gas Industry.

Scope of Work:

Carry out Loss Prevention Engineering work on the assigned project relevant to offshore wellhead/process platforms under the supervision of the Lead Process Engineer on the assigned project.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Loss prevention philosophy concept
2. Fire protection design basis
3. Hazardous area classification schedule layouts
4. Specification/Criteria for passive fire protection (fireproofing), schedule layouts
5. Fire gas design philosophy and Fire and gas detection system layouts
6. Layout drawings for safety equipment location, escape route, and safety signs
7. Perform design basis and characterization of the fire fighting protection system, and prepare relevant documents layouts
8. Execute hydraulic calculation for fire water network spray system

Requirements:

1. Bachelor or higher degree in Chemical Engineering or similar
2. Minimum experience of 10 years in the Oil & Gas Industry
3. Good experience and skills in process engineering for offshore wellhead/process platforms
4. Expertise in the preparation of fire water network PIDs
5. Familiar with Qatar Energy/ADNOC/SHELL/ARAMCO standards and international regulations

Starting date: ASAP

Duration: Twelve (12) months, with possibilities of extension.

Working hours: 9 hours a day / 5 days a week

Rotation: Resident with 30 days off per year
