To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor to drive both innovation in our busy Transportation network.

Your responsibilities:

1. Support the overall daily management of operational duties.
2. Prioritize and continually improve the safety at the delivery station and for the team.
3. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure that every shipment is delivered, meeting and exceeding the set operational KPIs.
4. Coach team members when needed, partnering with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
5. Communicate with our delivery service providers to set expectations and raise the bar on quality for their deliverables.
6. Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates, maintaining a keen eye for detail.
7. Ensure that all administrative tasks are accurately and fully completed.
8. Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics.
9. Assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance regularly.
10. Deputize for the Operations Manager as required.
11. Help with training and mentoring new Associates, providing the necessary knowledge to successfully carry out their tasks.
12. Follow up on and resolve any process-related issues as required.
13. Be flexible to work in different shifts and to do overtime when needed.
14. Together with the Operations Manager, sufficiently resource your function from a personal standpoint, which includes callouts for training needs, absence and performance management, coaching, and continuous monitoring of department productivity.
