Logistics Supervisor | UAE National only

Job Description

To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Support the overall, daily management of operational duties. This will mean deputizing for the Operations Manager, as and when required: you'll step in on their behalf where necessary.
2. Prioritize and continually improve the safety at the delivery station.
3. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure that every shipment is delivered meeting and exceeding the set operational KPIs.
4. Monitor coordinator and associate performance and coach them when needed, partnering with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
5. Communicate with our delivery service providers to set our expectations and raise the bar on quality on their deliverables.
6. Interview candidates for associate roles.
7. Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates, maintaining a keen eye for detail to ensure that all administrative tasks are accurately and fully completed.
8. Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics to assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance regularly.
9. Help with training and mentoring new Associates, ensuring they are provided with the knowledge needed to successfully carry out their tasks.
10. Follow-up on and resolve any process-related issues as and when required. This role will include physical activities such as pushing carts with up to 100 pounds of weight and lifting packages with up to 15 kg of weight.
11. Be flexible to work in different shifts and to do overtime when needed.
12. Together with the Operations Manager, sufficiently resource your function from a personal standpoint, including call-outs for training needs, absence and performance management, coaching, and continuous monitoring of department productivity.

Basic Qualifications:

• UAE Nationals with family book only.
• Candidate open to working within fulfillment center.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Logistics / Admin related field.
• Previous experience in operations.
