Logistics Supervisor

Description

To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor, to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.

Your Responsibilities

1. Support the overall, daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager as required.
2. Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
3. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure every shipment meets and exceeds operational KPIs.
4. Monitor coordinator and associate performance, coaching when needed.
5. Partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
6. Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise quality standards.
7. Interview candidates for associate roles.
8. Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates, ensuring administrative tasks are accurately completed.
9. Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics, assisting the Operations Manager with tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance.
10. Help with training and mentoring new Associates, providing them with necessary knowledge.
11. Follow-up on and resolve any process-related issues as needed.
12. Engage in physical activities such as pushing carts with up to 100 pounds and lifting packages up to 15 kg.
13. Be flexible to work different shifts and do overtime when needed.
14. Resource your function from a personal standpoint, managing training needs, absence, performance, coaching, and productivity monitoring.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations.
• Experience in logistics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
