Logistics Supervisor

Your responsibilities:

1. Support the overall, daily management of operational duties and deputize for the Operations Manager when required.
2. Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
3. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure every shipment meets and exceeds operational KPIs.
4. Monitor coordinator and associate performance, coaching them as needed.
5. Partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
6. Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise quality standards.
7. Interview candidates for associate roles.
8. Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates, ensuring all administrative tasks are accurately completed.
9. Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics to assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance.
10. Help train and mentor new Associates, providing them with the knowledge needed to successfully carry out their tasks.
11. Follow-up on and resolve any process-related issues as needed.
12. Perform physical activities such as pushing carts weighing up to 100 pounds and lifting packages weighing up to 15 kg.
13. Be flexible to work in different shifts and do overtime when needed.
14. Resource your function from a personal standpoint, including managing training needs, absence, and performance management.
