Logistics Specialist- (Arabic Speaker) expertise in Letter of Credit Experience

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Specialist - Arabic Speaker for our client to be based out of Dubai.

Responsibilities:

• Own the relevant expertise and ensure compliance with local (U.A.E) and international shipping regulations and customs laws.
• Responsible for delivery management in GCC zone. Negotiate with local carriers and develop transport capacity; standardize transportation operation processes, establish operation SOP; organize and coordinate transportation arrangements to solve transportation problems; optimize the transport cost control mechanism.
• Prepare and track all logistics documents to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information. Complete all related document affairs, such as document review and delivery.
• Responsible for import and export declaration and clearance, mastering the customs process, port agencies, and shipping lines. Independently contact and coordinate with the related parties.
• Responsible for L/C review and bank negotiation. Customer credit management, pricing management, and management of related disputes/charges.
• Responsible for the purchase of import and export transportation insurance, expense reimbursement, and assistance in settling claims.
• File and properly upkeep all documents. Back up and manage all relevant and essential files and documents to ensure information security.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues related to documentation.
• Coordinate with shipping lines/agents, customs, commerce commission, CCPIT, banks, and other third-party institutions.
• Arrange monthly statistics and handle the operation data.

Skills:

• Proven experience of 3-4 years in import-export logistics fields, especially in documentation & customs in UAE, preferably in the U.A.E automotive sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; Chinese is a plus.
• Advanced import-export knowledge and mastery of the Incoterms.
• Proficiency in relevant software and logistics management systems. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations and shipping processes, including 3PL, logistics, and transportation systems knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work under pressure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
