Job description

Logistics Operations Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  1. Managing of the third-party vendors in the region including outsourced warehouse operation and freight forwarders.
  2. Tender Process Management with 3PL’s and execution of the contract through KPI monitoring.
  3. Driving Cost Saving Projects.
  4. Reviewing and approving invoices from the vendors.
  5. Return Units Management.
  6. Scrapping and Depreciation Management.
  7. Supporting the annual Logistic Budget creation.
  8. Executing the Annual Inventory Stock Counting.
  9. Supporting Logistics Execution, Planning team and customer to secure booking as demanded.
  10. Handling the daily spot rates.

Job Requirements:

  1. At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
  2. Strong Negotiation and Leadership Skills.
  3. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving skills.
  4. Well versed in Microsoft Excel, Power B.I. is a plus.
  5. Excellent written and spoken English.
  6. GCC customs regulations knowledge.
  7. Continuous Improvement Mindset.
  8. Change Management skills.
  9. SAP Knowledge.

Preferred:

  • Postgraduate level.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Lifelong learner and some level of French will be considered as an advantage.
