Logistics Officer & Sales Admin
Job description
LOGISTICS:
- Analyze and optimize logistical procedures.
- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery terms, and freight transport costs.
- Serve as point of contact for Freight Forwarders and Clients.
- Negotiate rates with 3PL providers.
- Recommend optimal transport modes, routes, or frequency.
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product delivery.
- Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes, or carriers, and report results to others.
- Monitor ETD/ETA of shipments (Sea/Air) and report deviations.
- Notify and report GRN quantities arrival at DME warehouse.
- Supervise handling in and handling out of Containers at DME warehouse.
- Manage Local Stock Inventory and reconcile with Third Party Service provider and Warehouse.
- Arrange deliveries for local stock orders to customers in UAE mainland and Overseas by Air, Sea, and Land Freight.
- Organize and manage inventory, storage, and transportation.
- Review and prepare route shipping documents.
- Ensure shipping documents compliance with purchase order and letter of credit or procedures for product delivery.
- Ensure safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, exports, or customer issues.
SALES ADMIN:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team (Quotation/Technical Submittals/Marketing).
- Assist with order processing, invoicing, and customer inquiries.
- Manage and maintain sales order records and documentation.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Support sales reporting and marketing activities (Sales Presentations).
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Experience with Freight Transport Modes in MENA Custom rules and regulations (Mirsal 2, Dubai Chamber Country of origin, SABER, SASO, Nafeza, ACID).
- Sales Operations & Customer Service.
