We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to manage daily logistics operations, including inventory control, warehouse management, supply chain coordination, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in logistics or a related field, preferably within the oil industry, and possess strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in relevant software.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks. Ensure optimal stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishments.
Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of materials to maximize warehouse efficiency.
Logistics Management: Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective logistics operations. Monitor and track shipments to ensure smooth movement of goods.
Supply Chain Coordination: Work closely with procurement and suppliers to manage supply chain activities. Assist in developing strategies for cost reduction and process improvement.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain and update logistics documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and reports. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the oil industry.
Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
