Logistics Network Manager

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Network Relations Manager to lead and optimize our company’s network relations. This role is pivotal in managing contracts and key contacts, supporting both operational and commercial functions, expanding our global network, and overseeing the Logistics Agents network. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic insight, and a hands-on approach to managing and expanding network partnerships in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Contribute to the development of business plans aligned with departmental goals.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainable processes.
• Implement best practices to drive productivity and cost efficiency.

Performance Management

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting that meets company standards and expectations.

People & Leadership

• Set individual objectives, manage team performance, and foster professional development.
• Motivate and lead staff to achieve departmental goals effectively.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Recommend and monitor section budgets in line with company guidelines.
• Ensure financial performance aligns with strategic plans.

Policies & Procedures

• Implement and oversee policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure operational excellence.

Network Relations Management

• Maintain and manage relationships with existing network partners.
• Oversee contract negotiations and renewals to align with business goals.

Operational & Commercial Support

• Provide strategic support to operational and commercial teams within Logistics.
• Partner with vertical teams to enhance performance through network insights and expertise.

Network Department Oversight

• Manage a zoned network department structure, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all regions.

Network Expansion & Market Analysis

• Identify and develop strategies to penetrate new markets or regions.
• Monitor industry trends to identify new network opportunities.

Logistics Agents Network Management

• Oversee performance and compliance across the Logistics Agents network.
• Manage service level agreements (SLAs), contracts, SOAs, and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in network management, logistics, or a related role.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support both commercial and operational teams.
• Expertise in market analysis and business development.
• Effective leadership skills with experience managing a team or department.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
