Summary

Alokozay Group of Companies is looking for a Logistics Manager (Fleet Operations), who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, driver management, transportation planning, and ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the company’s vehicle fleet.
• Ensure timely scheduling of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Recruit, train, and manage drivers to ensure safe and efficient driving practices.
• Monitor driver performance, including safety, adherence to schedules, and fuel efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company policies regarding driver behavior and licensing.
• Ensure the fleet operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including those related to safety, environmental, and insurance requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation for inspections, licenses, permits, and other legal requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety and enforce safe driving practices across the fleet.
• Develop and manage the fleet operations budget, including costs for maintenance, fuel, insurance, and other operational expenses.
• Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, including operational costs, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party suppliers for vehicle maintenance, leasing, and fuel.
• Develop and implement fleet management policies, ensuring operational consistency and alignment with company goals.
• Utilize fleet management software, GPS tracking, and other technologies to optimize operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or fleet management, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Priority for FMCG experienced candidates. Manufacturing or trading industry also preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations, maintenance, and transportation regulations.
• Experience in managing a team of drivers and operations staff.
• Proficiency in fleet management software, GPS tracking, and other transportation management systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess fleet performance and optimize routes and costs.
