The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics related to vehicle sales, ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of cars from manufacturers or regional hubs to the dealership and ultimately to customers. This job supports the sales team by managing vehicle stock, coordinating vehicle movements, and ensuring the dealership has an efficient and responsive logistics system. The Logistics Manager also works closely with the sales department to forecast demand and ensure that inventory levels match sales requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all vehicle deliveries to the dealership, ensuring timely and accurate arrivals from manufacturers or regional distribution centres.
2. Coordinate internal movements of vehicles between branches, showrooms, and customer delivery points.
3. Maintain optimal stock levels of vehicles to meet sales demand, collaborating with the sales team to ensure inventory availability.
4. Implement efficient logistics strategies to ensure quick turnaround times for vehicle deliveries to customers.
5. Monitor and track vehicle shipments, resolving any delays, damage issues, or discrepancies in deliveries.
6. Manage the dealership's vehicle inventory, ensuring the accurate recording of incoming and outgoing vehicles.
7. Collaborate with the sales team to forecast future vehicle needs based on sales trends and market conditions.
8. Ensure the correct vehicle specifications and options are stocked according to customer preferences and sales patterns.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the automotive industry or vehicle distribution.
• Proven experience working with manufacturers, logistics providers, and transport companies.
