Based in Dubai, the MEA Logistics Supervisor supports the development of the Kering Brands' organization by carrying out and running best-in-class logistics options throughout the region (Middle East, Turkey as well as Africa) in the areas of warehousing, transportation as well as customs.
Leading the MEA Logistics Team, they run local logistics procedures respecting agreed timings, prices and service levels and in full compliance with regional regulations, policies and guidelines. They spearhead the integration of new distributions, channels, and Brands in alignment with the global logistics and supply chain strategies, serve as the key expert for logistics matters in the region and are the primary point of contact between Kering operations and Brands.

Your opportunity

Based in Dubai, the MEA Logistics Supervisor supports the growth of the Kering Brands' business by implementing and managing best-in-class logistics solutions across the area (Middle East, Turkey and Africa) in the areas of warehousing, transport and customs.

Leading the MEA Logistics Team, they run regional logistics operations respecting agreed timings, costs and service levels and in full compliance with regional regulations, rules and laws. They spearhead the integration of new flows, networks, and Brands in alignment with the global logistics and supply chain strategies, act as the key expert for logistics issues in the region and are the primary point of contact between Kering operations and Brands.

How you will contribute.

• Establish the local warehouse in the Dubai FTZ, implementing new storage solutions, flows and processes.
• Create and manage the local transport network (air, road, express).
• Monitor the product import or export processes and ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and customs requirements.
• Create SOPs, KPIs and metrics, develop and enhance performance monitoring solutions.
• Proactively monitor end-to-end performance, quality and cost to meet and exceed targets.
• Liaise and negotiate with logistics providers, conduct RFPs for carrier selection, develop carrier integration and conduct regular service reviews.
• Contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company by continuously identifying key areas for improvement.
• Forecast, budget and control logistics costs and conduct evaluations and projections to support business decisions.
• Drive environmental and sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with Group targets.
• Create risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes.

Who you are.

• Minimum ten years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a Fashion/Luxury business or a Logistics Provider.
• Knowledge of customs operations and import/export specifics of the Fashion and Luxury sector required.
• Fluent in English spoken and written; Arabic, French or Italian knowledge would be a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel).
• Ability to perform economic estimations and produce and manage budgets.
• Proactive approach in finding innovative solutions.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and business skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Multi-tasking approach with the ability to define the right priorities.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the countries of the Area of responsibility.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
