- Manage all aspects of shipping, freight, 3PL, and delivery to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
- Oversee the creation and management of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead demand planning processes to forecast necessary inventory levels accurately.
- Coordinate with brokers to ensure smooth, cost-effective transportation of goods.
- Oversee material management, ensuring optimal inventory levels and efficient use of resources.
- Supervise production planning to ensure it aligns with demand and logistics capabilities.
- Utilize Epicor software for various logistics and production planning operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers.
- Regularly review and analyze logistics operations data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in logistics management within the manufacturing industry.
Skills:
- Proven experience with shipping, freight, 3PL, purchase orders, demand planning, brokerage, delivery, material management, production planning.
- Proficient in using Epicor software.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of logistics and inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Understanding of industry best practices and an ability to implement them at various stages of the production process.
