Job Summary:

We are looking for a Cutlist Maker to oversee cut list preparation and machine section operations in our high-end joinery factory. This is a mid-level supervisory role, responsible for optimizing material usage, machine selection, and cutting precision to ensure efficient production processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with designers, production teams, and machine operators to ensure that all cutting plans align with technical drawings, material availability, and project timelines while minimizing waste.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Packing & Dispatch Operations:
   • Oversee the packing process, ensuring all joinery products are securely wrapped and labeled to prevent damage.
   • Coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to schedule dispatches according to project deadlines.
   • Ensure proper loading, unloading, and stacking of joinery items in transport vehicles.
2. Logistics & Shipment Coordination:
   • Work with transport providers to schedule and track shipments, ensuring on-time deliveries.
   • Optimize delivery routes and logistics planning to reduce transportation costs and delays.
   • Maintain records of dispatches, deliveries, and shipment status.
3. Inventory & Warehouse Operations:
   • Monitor inventory levels of finished products, packing materials, and dispatch supplies.
   • Ensure proper storage and organization of finished goods within the warehouse.
   • Coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams to streamline operations.
4. Compliance & Safety Standards:
   • Ensure all packing, loading, and transportation activities comply with health, safety, and quality regulations.
   • Implement proper handling procedures to prevent damage during storage and transit.
   • Conduct safety checks on packaging, lifting equipment, and dispatch areas.
5. Documentation & Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, delivery receipts, and transport documentation.
   • Coordinate with logistics and project teams to update on delivery schedules and any delays.
   • Assist in continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency in dispatch and logistics.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or dispatch operations within joinery, fit-out, or manufacturing.
• Basic understanding of packing techniques, inventory control, and transport logistics.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and work in a fast-paced factory environment.
• Strong attention to detail in handling fragile, high-end joinery products.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations, warehouse safety, and proper material handling.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and logistics tracking.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a GCC-based joinery or fit-out company, with knowledge of local logistics regulations and transport providers.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and dispatch tracking software.
• Understanding of customs documentation and export procedures (if applicable).
