As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our transportation and shipping operations, ensuring that our services are delivered with outstanding precision and efficiency. You will handle all shipping operations for our project-based contracts to ensure the shipments arrive safely at the destination on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be expected to:

1. Creation of Shipping documents such as Bill of Entry, Invoice & Packing List, etc.
2. Negotiation and booking with Shipping Agents / Freight Forwarders.
3. Coordinate and lead all aspects of the daily transportation and shipping operations.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline logistics processes.
5. Plan and track shipments according to customer requirements.
6. Handle and supervise packing and loading activities.
7. Ensure the timely and detailed execution of logistics plans.
8. Support Sales team with Shipping estimates and quotes.
9. Calculate and provide container quantity requirements for each project.
10. Support Project Manager with documentation submission as required.
11. Support Procurement officer with documentation preparation as required.
12. Maintain accurate records of shipment details ensuring all data is closely monitored and up-to-date.
13. Troubleshoot and resolve any logistical issues that arise ensuring a seamless flow of operations.
14. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to determine areas for improvement.
15. Prepare and present reports on logistics performance to senior management and finance team on a monthly basis.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have:

1. Proven experience in logistics coordination preferably within the transportation/shipping industry.
2. A strong understanding of logistics software and tools.
3. Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative approach.
5. The ability to strictly adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
6. A proactive and effective approach to problem-solving.
7. Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
8. A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
