Logistics Coordinator - Oilplus

The Role

Job Purpose: Facilitates communication between production, sales, and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Capacity Planning: Assuring that the needed resources (manufacturing capacity, distribution center capacity, transportation vehicles) will be available at the right time and place to meet the logistics and supply chain needs.
2. Order Processing.
3. Production Scheduling and Time Management.
4. Inventory Management and Optimization. Job requires travel to warehouse.
5. Material Replenishment Planning.
6. Logistics, Warehousing, and Distribution:
   1. Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
   2. Reviewing purchase orders and preparing shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
   3. Making special shipping arrangements as necessary.
   4. Tracking and fixing shipping errors.
   5. Ensuring that packaging, handling, and labeling are as per customer requirement.
   6. Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
   7. Plan and track the shipments.
7. Supplier Selection and Cost Control.
8. Risk Assessment.
9. Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

Requirements:

1. Education: Minimum graduate (Preferred in supply chain, ISO 9001 certification).
2. Effective Communication: Including writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication in English.
3. Quick Critical Thinking: Problem solving abilities and conflict management.
4. Good Collaboration: Teamwork abilities.
5. Ability to use Computer Software: For inventory and communication purposes.
6. Minimum of 4 Years Experience: In chemical field (preferred) with understanding of logistics terminology.
7. Self-Motivational: Self-directed learning.
8. Valid UAE Driving License: Preferred.
