Main job responsibilities are to monitor orders and follow up for readiness of orders, liaising and coordinating with the sales team for shipment deliveries as planned and on time.
Duties and responsibilities
Order monitoring and follow up for readiness of orders.
Planning and arranging deliveries as per procedures and policy.
Preparing load list and scheduling shipments for deliveries.
Organizing and ensuring that relevant documents are prepared and available for deliveries.
Coordinate with the transport department for collections and deliveries.
Liaising and coordinating with the sales team for shipment deliveries.
Export, FZ & GCC delivery planning.
Ensure that all orders are delivered as planned and on time.
Update sales team on the delivery planning and status of orders.
Delivery order management (monitoring & confirmation).
Pending orders follow up.
Attend to queries of the sales team and troubleshoot.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-4 years in logistics coordination or relevant field.
Knowledge of working with WMS/operating systems.
Good command of the English language (speak and write).
MS Office knowledge is a must.
Team leading skills.
Should be a team player.
A good knowledge of logistics processes and practices will be a plus.
Awareness of IMS policy.
Awareness of IMS objectives related to their work area.
Awareness of business process risks related to their area.
Awareness of safety and health risks and controls for risk reduction related to the area of work.
Awareness of environmental aspects and impacts and controls related to impact reduction related to the area of work.
Desired Candidate Profile
Should be versatile with JAFZA and Mainland Dubai trade activities for imports & exports.
Ready to be available for working in shifts (morning, afternoon & night shift).
