Job description

Our client is a leading company specializing in the international trade of fast moving consumer food products. With a strong global presence, the company ensures seamless import-export operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

1. Managing Logistics & Supply Chain Operations
  • Coordinate import and export logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation.
  • Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, from supplier coordination to final delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
  • Manage shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to optimize delivery timelines.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any logistical issues proactively.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with international shipping and distribution partners.
2. Process Optimization & Cost Management
  • Track and analyze key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) such as shipping costs, transit times, and inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline supply chain processes and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality regulations in global trade.
3. Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement
  • Address and resolve any transportation or customs-related delays.
  • Implement best practices to enhance logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of supply chain operations to support business growth.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong experience in logistics, import/export coordination, and international supply chain management.
  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, and international shipping documentation.
  • Experience in the food industry or FMCG sector is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Proficiency in logistics management systems and ERP tools.

Profile

  • Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or Logistics.
  • Personal Attributes : Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure.
