Logistics Coordinator - Apparel Group

Responsibilities:

1. Placing containers at ramp as per cut-off.
2. Weekly Planning & Booking containers as per TAT basis and ETA, ETD.
3. On receipt of shipment report from Procurement, check ETA with concerned shipping line and plan to bring container on time.
4. Negotiating competitive freight with various lines.
5. Making comparison sheet for Freight for approval.
6. Import - Check ETA, identify the right transporter & create POA.
7. Clearing Bill of entry from Dubai customs Mirsal 2 system for Customs docs submission.
8. Assigning Jobs & Daily work activity to store Keepers.
9. Stock Inventory - Ensuring store keepers cross check stock & inventory on a daily basis.
10. Bring import container and after unloading if any damage found report to shipping line and get Acceptance letter from them, & return the container before DO expires.
11. Arranging to bring Import / Export container and load / unload on time to reach Cutoff and ETD.
12. Cross Trade shipment to FTWZ from various origin.
13. Weekly circulation of POA according to QC Pass result.
14. Submitting Customs Docs on time before 14 days of Bill of Entry Clearance Date.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 8-15 years in the logistics field.
• Aware of Jafza (Dubai) & Kizad (Abu Dhabi) regulations.
