Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee the smooth flow of goods and materials within our supply chain operations in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing logistics documentation, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining compliance with local and international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the movement of goods and materials to meet delivery schedules.
• Communicate with suppliers, transport providers, and customers to ensure timely shipments.
• Prepare and review shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
• Monitor shipments in transit and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Resolve any transportation or delivery issues promptly and effectively.
• Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and transactions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and international trade laws.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and dispatch of goods.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends and propose improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Specialist, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes, transportation methods, and supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and documentation in the UAE.
• Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
