Title: Logistics Coordinator

Reporting to: Project Manager

Location: Dubai

Fläkt Group in Dubai is operating in a range of business applications including Data Centre, Indoor Climate, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas & Service. Products include AHU, CCU, Chiller & other HVAC products & services.

Main Purpose of Role:

To support the Project Manager in the supply chain management and commercial documentation. Candidate must be knowledgeable about the logistics and commercial documentation.

The main duties and responsibilities will include inter-alia:

• Supply Chain Management: Manage logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods by tracking shipments and coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
• Transportation Coordination: Plan and organize transportation across air, sea, and land, negotiate with carriers, and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Order Processing & Documentation: Prepare shipping documents and maintain accurate records of shipments and transactions.
• Problem Solving & Communication: Address logistics issues like delays or damages and ensure effective communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Cost Control: Monitor logistics costs, identify areas for savings, and report on logistics performance.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations in logistics operations.
• LC & Commercial Documentation Management: Prepare export-related documents for Letters of Credit, ensure alignment with LC terms, and coordinate with banks and finance departments for smooth payment processing.
• Admin responsibilities: Managing the procurement of office stationery and consumables, coordinating office maintenance requests, and overseeing the renewal of trade licenses and updates with telecom service providers.

Person Specification/Profile:

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• Should have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate relevant information.
• Must be conversant in English.
• Must have a pleasing personality.
• Must have a valid UAE driving license.
