Job description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee shipment schedules, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping documents, including bills, invoices, and customs documentation.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, provide tracking updates, and resolve shipping-related issues.
- Collaborate with transportation providers to ensure smooth logistical operations and resolve delays or discrepancies.
- Review and verify purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Track shipping errors, address issues as they arise, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Prepare and manage budgets for distribution and shipping expenses, optimizing cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and quality requirements in all shipping operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or a related field in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- UAE driving license preferred.
