Logistics Assistant - UAE National

A Logistics Assistant plays a key role in supporting supply chain operations by managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring the seamless movement of goods. This role involves maintaining accurate records, handling logistics documentation, and collaborating with suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams to optimize efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Warehouse:

1. Accept and verify supply orders, checking item quantity, shelf life, and overall condition.
2. Accurately receive shipments in the ERP or Inventory Management System.
3. Ensure only approved goods are accepted through the designated channels.
4. Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations.
5. Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
6. Track expiry dates and issue items accordingly to minimize waste.
7. Pick, pack, and load outbound shipments as per schedule.
8. Process and fulfill store requests through various communication channels.
9. Deliver requested items and update inventory records accordingly.
10. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
11. Ensure workspaces are free of debris and safety hazards.
12. Enforce adherence to safety protocols for all warehouse staff.
13. Issue, track, and manage uniform returns and re-issuance.
14. Inspect and ensure periodic calibration of equipment as per QHSE standards.
15. Collect and properly dispose of expired items from stations.
16. Participate in annual audits and collaborate with the finance department.

Logistics:

1. Assist in maintaining adequate stock levels of medical gases, ensuring they remain at PAR.
2. Deliver supply requests on schedule while keeping stations organized and free from excess packaging.
3. Collect company assets and equipment as per the maintenance schedule.
4. Coordinate the delivery of materials required for new projects.
5. Ensure ambulances are fully stocked and prepared for deployment in new projects.
6. Assist various departments by delivering necessary supplies for events and other activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Diploma or Equivalent in related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or other related field.
3. Excellent communication skills must be fluent in English, both written and oral.
4. Good Technical skills primarily in MS Office.
5. Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
6. Valid UAE Driving License and Forklift operational experience required.
7. Strong time management skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Desirable Qualifications / Skills / Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
2. Fluent in Arabic, both written and oral.
3. Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly within EMS or ambulance services.
